Bowls like this are ideal for weeknights because every component can be prepped ahead. Frozen edamame are picked at their peak; a quick boil in salted water is all they need. Homemade teriyaki is just soy, mirin, sake and sugar reduced until syrupy; it keeps for two weeks in the fridge. Leftover components keep for a day in the fridge, but the finished dish is best eaten fresh.
